90-Day / 3,000-Mile Limited Warranty

Every qualifying motorcycle sold by Big Al's Bikes includes a 90-day limited warranty or 3,000 miles of coverage, whichever occurs first. Coverage begins on the date the motorcycle is registered in the buyer’s name.

This warranty is designed to provide peace of mind by addressing unexpected mechanical or electrical issues that may occur during normal street use shortly after purchase.

Coverage Overview

During the coverage period, the warranty applies to failures of major mechanical or electrical components that affect the normal operation of the motorcycle.

Engine & Drivetrain

Coverage includes internal engine components, lubrication-related parts, transmission components, and primary drivetrain elements when failures occur during normal riding conditions.

Clutch & Power Delivery

Clutch-related components are covered when failure is not the result of misuse, abuse, or operating conditions outside normal street riding.

Cooling & Fuel Systems

Cooling system components and fuel delivery components directly related to normal engine operation are included.

Electrical & Electronic Systems

Coverage extends to engine management components, sensors required for proper operation, charging system components, and electrical systems involved in starting and normal riding operation.

Repairs & Service Location

Warranty repairs are performed at a repair facility agreed upon in advance. The motorcycle does not need to be returned to our dealership.

When applicable, we coordinate directly with the repair facility to review the issue, approve repairs, and complete the process efficiently.

Authorization Process

  • Issues should be reported promptly after they are identified
  • Repairs require approval before work is performed (except in emergency situations)
  • Diagnosis and repairs must be completed by qualified repair facilities

This process helps ensure repairs are properly documented and completed efficiently.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Routine maintenance or scheduled service items
  • Normal wear items (tires, brakes, belts, chains, sprockets, fluids, filters)
  • Cosmetic concerns or appearance-related issues
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, overheating, neglect, or improper maintenance
  • Track use, racing, or competition activities
  • Modifications, tuning, ECU flashes, or aftermarket performance upgrades
  • Issues caused by contaminated fuel, incorrect fluids, or improper storage

These exclusions reflect normal expectations for pre-owned motorcycles.

Warranty coverage applies to motorcycles operated under normal street conditions and maintained according to manufacturer-recommended service guidelines.
